A series of Nokia N8 TV ads have recently popped up online, showing the features of Nokia’s very first 12MP cameraphone and also the first phone to run Symbian^3. These commercials make the device look more appealing than it really is, but that’s the point of marketing after all, right?

Last we heard, the handset was already available on pre-order in the UK, with the first shipments coming on October 15. Also, the N8 will reach the stores on 22 October, at least in Great Britain. You can still pre-order a unit from the official Nokia UK online store, available with a 2 year Vodafone, T-Mobile or O2 contract (30 pounds per month).

The unlocked version goes for 429 pounds. Back to the ads, they’re pretty cool, but that “What will you do with it?” sentence is annoying.
