Last week was an important one for Nokia, that not only showed us the N9 prototype, the very first MeeGo phone, but also the developer-oriented N950 model. This one brings forth a sliding QWERTY keyboard, as an extra to the N9. And now there’s a source in Thailand posting no less than 17 minutes of action with the N950.
Sadly, I don’t speak the language of the previewer, but I can tell you he’s one lucky guy. Also, I wonder why the keyboard of the device is not shown in the video… Well, one thing’s for sure: seeing the features of the N9 and N950, I regret a LOT that Stephen Elop decided to make these units the first and last with Meego.
The positive thing is that Intel and LG will carry the MeeGo legacy forward and maybe even create a tablet with it. OK, enough about that and let’s watch the video, that includes a preview of the MeeGo dialer, browser, camera settings (ISO, aspect ratio, timers) and even turn by turn navigation and a Facebook app.
