Just after releasing the Nokia N97 software upgrade 2.0, adding new user experience elements and functions to the device, Nokia went out and launched the N97 mini stores. The handset is available from today, sporting stainless steel cues, a tilting 3.2 inch touch display, a QWERTY keyboard and a customizable homescreen.
Nokia N97 mini comes with the same software as the N97 and it’s available in stores with a retail price of approximately 450 euros, before taxes and subsidies. The Finnish handset maker claims it has sold over 2 million N97 units in September 2009 and using the consumer feedback, they’ve created the N97 mini, with its pocket-friendly size and cool features.
Will people still buy the N97 or go with the smaller version of the handset?
