After seeing the video below I wish I was a Nokia phone tester… these guys get to toy with the hottest handsets and “torture” them with the aid of complex machines. Also, they get to see how every neat handset faces destruction and survives it.
The footage was made by filming the process of testing in 11 Nokia centers and more than 200 mechanical tests.
Nokia’s handsets are even tested for resistance in a purse with sharp objects and have to face simulated weather conditions, bright sun, prove their splash resistance, and face hotness, humidity, low temperature and finally prove their robustness.
It’s very important to notice that the phone keypads also get tested with the aid of a robotic arm that simulated hundreds of thousand of presses per key. Is this job cool, or what?
