There’s a new photo browser in town, available till now only on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and finally released for the S60 3rd Edition platform. This software provides a new way of managing and viewing images, as shown in the video below:

Nokia Beta Labs is responsible for this great release, compatible with all handsets running Symbian S60 3rd Edition (FP1 and FP2). The software comes in two versions: one for devices packing accelerometers and one for handsets without this feature. You can download both of them from here and you should know that the software works on most of the N-series phones.

The app comes with a 3D interface, neat effects during the browsing process and it’ll even look fine on a phone without a touchscreen. In the meantime, we also learned that Google Maps is now available in an updated version for Symbian-based handsets and it can be downloaded from here.
