Nokia has recently stopped selling its WiMAX Internet Tablet, the N810, the only portable device made by the Finns that supports WiMAX connectivity. There’s no info on why the product was discontinued, but know that it wasn’t all bad, as it had quite neat features: a 4.1 inch touchscreen, a sliding keyboard and a $438 price tag.

Don’t fret, as the device is still available in shops, but there’s no plan on manufacturing more units. However, Nokia claims that they’re still interested in WiMAX, but they’re waiting for a more massive implementation of the technology till they refresh their portofolio of Internet tablets.
