Nokia has unveiled a mystery Windows Phone teaser that may have something to do with their presence at this month’s MWC in Barcelona. They ask us if we’ve heard what’s coming and only play some sounds of an engine revving up in the video below.
That’s the only 15 second teaser we’ve got so far, without any clear picture to associate. We see Nokia and Windows Phone logos at the end and that’s about it. Nokia posted this teaser on its US YouTube account, so it may be a local announcement in the end and nothing at MWC. We could finally see the rumored Nokia Lumia Icon debuting on Verizon… or maybe more.
The Icon is expected to be a smaller Lumia 1520 with a 5 inch Full HD screen, 20 megapixel camera and a 2.2 GHz quad core CPU. The device has leaked a bunch of times on the web as the Lumia 929, but the final branding may be Lumia Icon. What do you make of this teaser video? There’s also speculation it may have to do with the Treasure Tag Bluetooth accessory.
