Nokia has just unveiled two new handsets, Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230, both packing 3G support and slider designs. The handsets have cool social networking features, they come in fresh colours and they’ll be available starting Q1 2010.

Nokia 6700 slide will cost EUR 160, while Nokia 7230 will be yours for EUR 100. Nokia 6700 slide will come in 6 colours and it’ll feature social networking functions, 3G support, an aluminium frame and a 2.2 inch screen. At its back you’ll find a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and a camera button.

The phone’s battery will provide 29 hours of music playback, 12 days of standby or 4 hours of talk time. FM radio is also on board, as well as a music player and the Symbian S60 platform. Moving on to Nokia 7230, this handset comes with a compact slide design, it features a 3.2 megapixel camera, a large 2.4 inch display and 3G connectivity.

Nokia’s new slider will provide quick access to email, IM and social networks, plus it’ll let you know that you have missed calls or messages through a discrete illumination system. The phone will be bundled with a 2 GB microSD card and it’ll also feature FM radio and a battery that provides 4 hours of talk time.
