Nokia X6 seems like the latest device ready for unveiling over at HMD Global and it’s a doozie. It feels like a revamped Nokia 7 Plus, with a notch screen and 19:9 aspect ratio. It’s expected to debut on April 27th and we already have some solid leaks and renders related to it.

The past week saw a bunch of leaks related to a certain “Nokia X”, which came up on the interwebs and now that device has turned into the Nokia X6. Not to be confused with the 2009 music phone of the same name, this newcomer has been confirmed for an April 27th unveiling in China. It’s going to sport a 5.8 inch Full HD+ with an 19:9 aspect and the famous notch in the mix.

The back of the phone is said to be similar to the Nokia 7 Plus, design wise at least. Upfront we see a curved glass panel and we learn that the device will have two main versions: one with a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and one with a MediaTek Helio P60, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage.

There’s also a microSD card slot in the mix, actually a hybrid SIM setup, Android 8.1 Oreo and at the back we find a dual camera with 12 MP + 13 MP sensor combo, with Zeiss optics. This sounds a lot like the Nokia 7 Plus camera, to be frank. A fingerprint scanner, audio jack and 4G VoLTE are all here. The front facing camera doesn’t have a clear resolution yet, but 16 MP is not out of the picture, with Zeiss too.

The prices going around for this model are crazy good: $253 for the Snapdragon one and $285 for the MediaTek one with 6 GB of RAM. All will be clear on Friday, April 27th.
