A few days ago the name OnePlus 2 was finally confirmed, courtesy of a OnePlus contest, that requires people to take unique videos and pictures expressing their love for OnePlus or what the brand means to them. Well today an engineering sample of the handset has leaked through a teaser of the same competition.

This initiative will bring 3 lucky winners to Hong Kong, behind the scenes of the launch of the smartphone and the submissions must be made by June 15th for the picture contest at least. The poster below shows us a handset being held with two hands, apparently the OnePlus 2 unit. It’s supposed to be a prototype and it looks pretty big, seeing how the person in the image handles it. Maybe it’s even larger than 5.5 inches in diagonal.

We don’t have many details here, aside from the reasonably big bezel and rectangular format. We’re waiting for a debut of the device in Q3 this year, once again with an invite system. In the meantime, seeing how the Snapdragon 810 is causing problems again, this time on the Xperia Z4, we sure hope that OnePlus went with something else this time.
