As we informed you yesterday, the OnePlus One handset has gone on sale today and just as we predicted, it’s becoming a hit, having sold out. The device goes for $319 in the 16 GB version and $368 in the 64 GB one.
The folks of Jingdong, the sellers of the device have claimed that 1.35 million preorders have been registered and all initial stock units are sold out. This sounds like a Xiaomi situation and it’s excellent news for a startup that’s only now beginning its life. Shipments will be completed in 3 working days, so users don’t have to wait too long to get their products.
Hopefully they’ll get them in official boxes and with all the accessories, unlike those OnePlus One prizes sent randomly to users without accessories or proper packages. Another wave of sales for the OnePlus One phone will start on June 4th, so next Wednesday. Did you get one?
