Oppo 6607, an apparent new handset has been certified by the TENAA, but it’s in fact a handset we’ve known about for a while. We knew it as the Oppo U3 and even the specs of the two models fit, making this an octa core smartphone.
The 6007/U3 stands out through very slim bezels, some of the slimmest we’ve seen, making even LG devices jealous. The device looks elegant in black and comes with Android 4.4.4, plus an octa core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6752 processor, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. The product was seen in benchmarks with two diagonal versions: 4.6 inches and 5.9 inches, so we may get two models.
On board we find 16 GB of storage, while at the back there’s a 12 MP camera, with 4K video capture. Upfront rests an 5 MP shooter and other specs include an accelerometer, compass, GPS and proximity sensor. This is a single SIM model and we can’t wait to find out its screen to body ratio.
