Oppo already unveiled its F3 Plus handset back in March this year and now they’re prepping the Oppo F3 for launch. The device is expected to see the light of day in India on May 4th and in the meantime it gets anticipated by quite a few leaks.
We’ve got dummy unit pictures, a leaked slide, hands on video and two benchmarks of the machine. Just like the F3 Plus it will be focused on selfies, courtesy of two front cameras, with a resolution of 16 and 8 MP. This will be a metal machine, with a pretty decent waistline of 7.3 mm and offering Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the 5.5 inch Full HD screen upfront.
It also provides 4 GB of RAM, as well as 64 GB of storage and an octa core MediaTek MT6750T processor, with a Mali T860 GPU in the mix. There’s a hybrid SIM slot in the mix, part of a dual SIM setup and the main camera is a 13 MP unit. By the way the front shooter brings a 120 degree wide angle view. Finally, the Oppo F3 has a 3200 mAh battery/
The newcomer runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 on top and from what I’ve seen both benchmark leaks confirm its specs. Then there’s the hands on video, showing a metal body, a Home button with fingerprint scanner and very discrete antenna lines. We’ll learn more on May 4th, especially the price tag.
