Oppo has a new derived version of the R9 handset coming, aside from the Oppo R9 Plus. The newcomer is dubbed Oppo R9s and brings VOOC fast charging, a technology that was first unveiled at MWC 2016.
The phone is expected to ship in August this year and it comes with dual speakers at the bottom, an oval Home button and a slim metallic chassis, judging by the picture above. Inside we should find the Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 821 CPU, which is quite the difference of theories if you ask me. This model has a narrow frame design and possibly surpasses the quantity of 4 GB of RAM.
Oppo R9s has VOOC super flash charging, that is able to juice up a 2500 mAh battery in just 15 minutes. Obviously we expect this phone to bring a bigger battery, but this won’t increase the charging time too much. I wouldn’t count out a 16 MP back camera.
