Orange has just announced officially the long awaited Toshiba TG01 smartphone, with all of its specs and there’s even a hands on video below, showing the handset in action.

Toshiba TG01’s specs list includes CorePlayer, ideal for movie playing, a GPS and the main feature, a great 1 GHz Qualcomm CPU. TG01 also supports quad band GPRS/EDGE, 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0.

There’s a 3.2 megapixel camera on board, too and a big and impressive 4.1 inch WVGA 800 x 480 screen, a microSD card slot and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Toshiba TG01 will be available in Orange UK starting tomorrow, July 10 for free and with a monthly fee of £39.15 (24 month price plan).

Keep in mind that the phone comes with an 8GB microSD card, courtesy of Orange and you also get to use a slick UI and Opera, for a better user experience.
