Remember that Best Buy error that had Palm Pre selling for $99? Well, it turns out that now the handset goes for lower than that, $79.99, on contract with mail-in rebate. This offer came up at Walmart yesterday and we can expect the handset to be available for free, at some point, probably during the holidays.
Does anyone remember that originally Palm Pre sold for $200? In case you bought it for the old price… tough luck for you, but there’s still hope to get another decent webOS device for a better price, Palm Pixi/ Eos that is.
