Amazon was one of the pioneers of the Palm Pre age, selling the device a week after it was released and now it has a special offer for all potential buyers. Although initially Pre retailed for $639.99 via Amazon, now it’s available for $199.99 with a 2 year contract.
Too bad that you can’t also purchase accessories for the new Palm handset from Amazon, else the offer would be complete. Quick recap of Pre’s features: TFT touchscreen display with a 3.1 inch diagonal and 320 x 480 pixels resolution, webOS on board, a physical QWERTY key board, Outlook email with Direct Push support, GPS, a 3 MP camera and quite a bunch of sensors (ambient light, accelerometer and proximity).
