Panasonic’s Eluga series has been expanding for quite a few years now, with presences as far as MWC 2012 or 2013. Now we get new models within the series, the Eluga Ray Max and Ray X, that stand out through a brand new smart assistant bundle with them and dubbed Arbo.

This smart AI is able to understand the usage of the device and makes it smarter based on location and time. Arbo will be available for the handsets by the end of April. Both smartphones come with unibody metal cases, fingerprint scanners, selfie flashes and support for 4G LTE and VoLTE. Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is a 5.2 incher with Full HD resolution and a 2.5D glass panel upfront.

It relies on a Snapdragon 430 CPU, plus 4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot. Dual SIM slots are on board, as well as a 16 megapixel main camera and 8 MP selfie shooter. A fingerprint scanner and 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge round up the list.

The Eluga Ray X is bigger, but more modestly specced, including a 720p 5.5 inch screen and a quad core MediaTek MT6737 processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It goes with a 13 MP back camera, a 5 MP front shooter, plus a beefy 4000 mAh battery.

The Eluga Ray Max goes for $192, while the Eluga Ray X is priced at $138. Both are exclusive to Flipkart from April 1st.
