Panasonic Eluga I is a new good looking phone, that hast just come to India, priced at $162. This affordable model is available at Flipkart for the price mentioned before and there appears to be some kind of reduction, since on paper the price should be 30% higher.
The phone comes with smart swipe functionality, allowing the user to access various functions by using a combo of fingers and swipes. The smartphone packs a 5 inch IPS HD display and inside it we find a quad core 1.3 GHz processor, that helps it run Android 4.4.2. There’s a custom UI on top, called Fit Home User Interface and the back side, especially the camera area makes me think of a midrange Lumia.
Panasonic also offers a flip cover with the Eluga I and there’s also a 1 year manufacturer warranty for the phone and 6 months warranty for the accessories. There’s an 8 megapixel back camera with the ability to capture Full HD video, plus there’s a 2 MP front camera included. We’ve got a 2000 mAh battery inside, Bluetooth 4.0 is in the mix, as well as AGPS, dual SIM slots and 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. The product measures 9 mm in thickness and weighs 155 grams.
