Panasonic’s Eluga Turbo handset has debuted in India, with a 5 inch screen and pretty good upper midrange specs. Priced at $162, the handset offers HD resolution on an IPS panel and provides Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
This is also a slim phone, measuring 6.95 mm in thickness and it comes with a glass panel at the back as well, with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection. Panasonic Eluga Turbo is a 4G handset with a 1.5 GHz octa core CPU and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. We find a 13 megapixel back camera in the mix, with LED flash and a 5 MP front shooter.
There’s dual SIM support and 32 GB of storage here, as well as HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Eluga Turbo has a 2350 mAh battery and comes in blue for now. Panasonic doesn’t release phones very often, but when they do, the Eluga series provides a quality batch of models.
