3lib.ukonline recently posted a comparison table between the hottest smartphones and PDA phones of 2008 (and older). Among the handsets on the list there’s, of course, the iPhone 3G, BlackBerry Storm, T-Mobile G1, Nokia E71, Nokia E90, Sony Ericsson P1i and many others.

The criteria used to judge the smartphones include calendar/agenda, to-do/tasks, contacts, email, web browsing, wider connectivity options, or word processing.

For example, the iPhone got 0 in video recording, as it doesn’t support this feature (native) and 10 when it comes to indoor screen clarity. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic got a 10 in connectivity options, as did Nokia E90 and Nokia E71 and you can find out the rest of the grades by checking out this link.
