In answer to some stock market analysts that were concerned about the fact that Pegatron may see decreased Apple orders in 2015 because Wistron and Compal Electronics have become additional OEMs for Apple, Pegatron chairman TH Tung said that the company is confident about maintaining Apple orders in 2015.
We get to know that Wistron and Compal share orders for the iPhone 6 and iPad Mini with Pegatron, devices that are currently sold in millions of units. TH Tung also said that Pegatron has a great cooperation with Apple, and the other two OEMs can’t compete with them in terms of big-volume orders.
According to the DigiTimes report, Pegatron shipped 10 to 10.5 million notebooks in 2015, and its revenue proportion for mobile telecom devices, including iPhone 6orders, rose from 39% in the 2nd quarter of 2014 to 45% in the 3rd and 50% in the last quarter.
