A new and interesting device has been certified by the TENAA today and that model is dubbed PHICOMM C520Lw. This handset runs Aliyun OS, that’s why it made the news. Certification happened on March 13th 2015.

The product runs the platform Aliyun OS 2.9.2, based on Android and created by the group Alibaba. Inside the handset we find a 1.2 GHz processor of the quad core kind and upfront there’s a modest 4.5 inch screen with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. We also get a 0.3 MP front camera, a 2 MP CMOS image sensor at the rear and TD-LTE connectivity, as well as FDD-LTE.

512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage and a 9.6 mm thick chassis round up the specs list here. The device weighs 140 grams and it’s meant for China Unicom, being optimized for their network. The design format is rectangular and involves 3 capacitive buttons below the display and pretty thick bezels.
