It appears that Samsung’s not the only one making good looking clamshell phones, since Philips is also preparing one. The proof is the device certified by TENAA recently, dubbed Philips V800 and shown below.
This model is a flip phone that resembles Samsung’s latest such devices and brings two 3.7 inch TFT screens with 720p resolution, one at the inside and one outside. The phone runs Android 5.1 and brings a 13 megapixel main camera with Full HD video capture and a selfie 5 MP shooter. The handset is quite bulky, at 19 mm in thickness and weighs 206 grams.
Other features include a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot and LTE connectivity. There’s no price or launch date just yet and this feels more like a local launch, rather than a global product.
