We’re less than a week away from the big unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi4 handset, that’s happening on July 22nd. It now appears that we’ve got the first price and a new render of the device. Xiaomiworld.com published the info and picture, as shown below.
The device is priced at $599.99, a believable price tag, if you ask me, but also a bit more than we expected. Xiaomi Mi4 is said to be a flagship product, that’s coming to markets like Russia, Brazil, Vietnam, Turkey, India, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. I’m guessing China is obviously included, too. There are even specs listed below the price and picture, including a Snapdragon 805 CPU and 3 GB of RAM.
There’s also mention of a 5.5 inch QHD display and a 16 megapixel camera with OIS, as well as 32 GB of storage. 4G support and a front 8 megapixel shooter are also mentioned, but I would take all of them with a grain of salt. One thing is for sure: the Mi4 will be very hard to find when it gets released and many thousands of units will be sold on the first day.
