We knew that ASUS was preparing its ZenFone 4 series for unveiling and various signs of their appearance popped up online. The ZenFone 4 Max was unveiled recently and now we wait for the rest of the gang, like the ZenFone 4 Pro, regular ZenFone 4 and the Ultra. The ZenFone 4 Pro passed through the NCC in Taiwan apparently.

The device is codenamed ASUS ZZ1 GP and it already passed the certification process, with FDD-LTE/TD-LTE and WCDMA support. It also got certified for Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi usage. Since it’s a Pro model, we expect it to be the top of the line, replacing the ZenFone 4 Deluxe let’s say. The ZenFone 4 Selfie was previously leaked with a Snapdragon 625 CPU, 16 MP back camera and a 12 MP front shooter.

For the Pro unit I expect at least a Snapdragon 660, or maybe a Snapdragon 835 even, with 4 or 6 GB of RAM in the mix. A high end camera should be on board, maybe even a dual one taken from the ZenFone Zoom S. The battery should be generous, the screen at least a 5.7 incher and Android Nougat should be on board, or even Android O if the device gets pushed till the fall.
