George Hotz is slowly but surely approaching the star status of Mark Zuckerberg, so after hacking the iPhone and PlayStation 3 he’s once again in the news. Also known as Geohot, the young man was sued by Sony last we heard and replied to the suit through a rap video and now Sony is claiming that fled the country to South America.
Meanwhile, the famous hacker is claiming that he’s really gone south, but on a vacation that has been paid for ever since November. He reminds everyone that it’s Spring break and “hacking isn’t his life”. Geohot also accepted donations for his legal defense, that was needed to counter Sony in court and he claims that he isn’t spending the money on trips.
Sony previously had his HDDs confiscated and it remains to be seen who will win the battle…
