Qik recently announced that it’s the first live mobile streaming service to integrate with 12seconds, also know as the “video Twitter”, a popular micro-video site. Starting from yesterday, Qik users who also work with 12seconds, will be able to link their accounts to the other service.

This can be easily done by accessing the “Edit profile” page on Qik, then clicking on “Edit this account”, near the 12seconds logo. Afterwards you enter the necessary data and you’re done! Plus, this brings another neat feature into action: every 12 seconds of your Qik videos will be transferred to your 12seconds account as well.

The advantage for 12seconds users is that now they can use Qik’s support for dozens of handsets and broadcast the world their “12 seconds of fame”.
