Qik, the famous video streaming software, was recently released as a fresh new beta client, which features support for 27 new devices. There are also new features in this release, like the support for external flash memory, which allows the user to toy with Qik even when offline or while using a poor connection.
The new client also brings a better experience on touch devices, thanks to the on-screen functions made available with a single tap of the screen.
Among the 27 new supported devices there’s the Palm Treo 800w, Samsung Omnia, Samsung BlackJack 3, HTC Touch Pro, HTC Touch HD, HTC TyTn, Motorola Q Music 9m and a bunch of other quite hot handsets.
