Qualcomm Quick Charge Technology Detailed on Many Devices

With the launch of its newer gen chipset for mobile devices, Qualcomm has taken the opportunity to integrate a number of technologies that are aimed at helping the users get the most out of their smartphones. One of these is particularly useful though it hasn’t been mentioned so far.

The Quick Charge technology has been implemented by Qualcomm in its latest lineup of hardware components for mobile devices. The technology was purchased with the Summit Microelectronics in June last year and since then it has been improved to reach a stable implementation in some of the devices available on the market today. As the naming suggests, Quick Charge is aimed at providing faster charge rates, with up to 40%, for the compatible mobile devices.

Qualcomm has made the list of devices that are compatible with Quick Charge available. Owning one of these I can tell you that it makes a huge difference and the device gets charged in under two hours.
