If you checked out this article we had here, you were probably wondering how to get your hands on the handset made by Shenzen company Doov Technology. Their model stands out through a flippable camera, placed at the back of the device.

It flips out like a kickstand from the back of the otherwise normal smartphone. The model we wrote about is the Doov V1 and it’s a device with narrow screen edges, a 13 megapixel camera sensor at the back and a front facing shooter as well. The phone has a 5 inch IPS HD display with 720p resolution, a quad core processor at 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. We’ve also got 16 GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot and Android 4.4.4

It’s interesting to note that the device measures 8.5 mm in thickness, in spite of its bulbous attachment. The camera area looks pretty big and I’m guessing the reason for its flipping mechanism is to turn it into a selfie camera. There’s a dual LED flash in the mix and a cool jagged pattern on the edges of the cam. The only problem here? Such mechanisms tend to be fragile.
