It appears that the trend of “battery phones” is growing more and more and now one comes straight out or Russia. It’s dubbed Highscreen Power Five and it’s a 5 inch handset with a beefy 5000 mAh battery.

This smartphone uses Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a 64 bit MediaTek MT6735 processor, a quad core unit clocked at 1.3 GHz. The screen upfront is an AMOLED with 720p resolution and 5 inch screen, while specs here include a 5 MP selfie camera and an 8 megapixel back shooter. There’s LTE in the mix, of the category 4 kind, with a top download speed of 150 Mbps.

Highscreen Power Five is a dual SIM smartphone, with two micro SIM card slots, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and 1.5 GB of RAM. We’ve also got 16 GB of storage in the mix, a Li-Ion battery with the above mentioned capacity and the handset comes in black and white. Priced at $258, the device looks a bit like a Gionee model.
