The folks of PhoneArena have managed to get hold of a Samsung Alias 2 U750 unit and reviewed it, for us all to see. You can check out the video review below and we’ll have a look at the list of pros and cons before buying such a device, in the following lines.

First, we learn that the call quality on Samsung Alias 2 is quite impressive, comparable with the one on Samsung Trance U490 and LG Chocolate 3. The selling point of this handset is surely its E-ink keyboard, something that you won’t see on any other device out there. The internal display is also easy to use, while the 2 megapixel camera behaves neatly, in spite of the lack of autofocus.

This is one of Verizon’s coolest QWERTY phones, but it does have its defects, like the earpiece and speakerphone distortion at high call volumes, the poor music player, background distortion when using Stereo Bluetooth and the proprietary port used for data transfer and charging.
