After we saw an upgraded version of the curent flagship Galaxy S5, a device launched on the korean market as Galaxy S5 LTE-A, now Samsung announces the Galaxy S5 Sport edition. This variant will go on sale next month through the Sprint operator.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport packs similar features to the original Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Active, but it also looks like a different phone thanks to the revamped design, physical buttons and software. This new device will arrive with several preloaded apps like Sprint Fit Live, MapMyFitness, Activity Zone, S Health and much more.

Regarding the specs, Galaxy S5 Sport offers the same 5.1-inch Full HD display, a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. We also get an IR Blaster, a 2800 mAh battery, a microSD card slot and IP67 water and dust certification. This phone will be available in Electric Blue and Cherry Red starting July 25.
