US Cellular has yet to offer a Windows Phone 8 handset, which is a surprise in this day and age, but they are preparing to deliver now. Their last Windows Phone offering was the ZTE Render, with WP 7.5 and now they’re preparing the Samsung Ativ Odyssey, a Windows Phone 8 device.
A couple of promotional materials associated with this smartphone have hit the web, confirming the arrival of the handset. The phone is pictured in the promos with US Cellular branding and we’re dealing here with a midrange unit, that’s available right now on Verizon.
Its specs include a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built in storage. There’s also a microSD card slot on board, as well as LTE, NFC and at the back you’ll find a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. US Cellular is expected to make an official announcement regarding the product soon.
