Samsung Captivate is coming to AT&T in about a week or so, but here’s a sneak preview of the handset and its package, thanks to a recent leak. As you can see, the box calls this handset a “Galaxy S” phone, just to make it clear for people wondering what this device really is.

This phone comes with a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, with multitouch support, a 5 megapixel camera with support for 720p HD video capture, autofocus, smile detection, ISO control and more.

There’s also a microSD/microSDHC card slot on board, 16GB of memory, Android 2.1, a Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor @ 1 GHz and WiFi.
