Samsung recently updated the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge to Android 7.0 Nougat, but there are more models waiting in line for this release. Among them we find a few famous names, revealed today by Samsung itself.

After offering beta programs for its most famous handsets, Samsung officially announced via a blog post that it’ll release Android 7.0 for these smartphones and tablets. Here are the units next in line:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlocked)
  • Samsung Galaxy A3
  • Samsung Galaxy A8

Those will receive Nougat by the end of the first half of 2017, including new features and a fresh UI. You’re probably wondering where the midrange models are, like the Galaxy A (2016) units. We’ll they should get the update in the second half of the year. New functionality in the fresh firmware includes a brand new design for notifications and quick settings toggles, Multi Window mode improvements, Performance Mode, Samsung Pass and improved Always On Display.

The calendar app gets a new UI, apps can be put to sleep, Blue Light filter will help you sleep better and much more.
