Last month Samsung’s Galaxy A6, A8 and A9 models were trademark, hinting at future releases of the devices, all of them within the metallic Galaxy A series. Today the Samsung Galaxy A8 specs have leaked, with the device codenamed being SM-A800F.

The product is apparently only meant for China and as far as hardware goes, this model has some pretty solid specs. Those include a 16 megapixel rear camera, but we can’t guarantee it’s anywhere close to the quality of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pics. The front camera is a 5 MP shooter and the Galaxy A8 is said to be the largest of the Galaxy A models, with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED panel.

This screen offers a Full HD resolution and the device is rumored to be incredibly thin, at just 5.9 mm, a new milestone for Samsung. Weight will be at 140 grams and the handset will rely on a 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor, together with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. A 3050 mAh battery will also be on board, together with Android 5.0.1, with TouchWiz applied on top of it.
