In the past few weeks we had a lot of leaks with the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, phone that finally gets unveiled in China today. As you probably can guess, we’re dealing here with a better hardware package compared to the regular version of te 6 inch phablet, device that looks pretty amazing with its uni-body construction that includes glass and metal.
This new variant keeps the 6-inch Full HD panel, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and also the 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Instead, we’re getting 4 GB RAM memory now, and also a 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, optical image stabilization and an f/1.9 aperture.
At the same time we see an upgraded battery on this new handset, from a 4000 mAh unit found on the regular unit to a 5000 mAh battery on this fresh A9 Pro. We have the quick charging technology here, a fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection for the huge 6 inch panel.
We get to know that Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and the fact that its price tag is set at $540 for the Chinese market.
