Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, possibly the best specced Galaxy A series device has been confirmed for international launch, courtesy of a recent FCC approval. The device is an upgrade to the much loved Galaxy A9 and it’s prepped for US debut, apparently.
Bluetooth certification was received just days ago and the device got listed on the Bluetooth SIG. Galaxy A9 Pro appeared under the codenames SM-A910F and SM-A910F/DS and both models received FCC approval. Official documents mention the likes of a 5000 mAh battery, a 6 inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen and a 1.8 GHz 64 bit octa core processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652.
That CPU comes with an Adreno 510 GPU and we also get 4 GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop as the OS. There’s Android 5.1 Lollipop listed as the OS, but I sure hope this model debuts with Marshmallow. The Galaxy A9 Pro has appeared on the Zauba Indian site for export/import, with a listing price of around $325. Still, it may come to the market in the range of $500 or more.
Expect a 16 megapixel back camera with OIS, 8 MP front shooter and the usual collection of GPS, NFC, WiFi and LTE.
