There’s yet another selfie phone in town, this time one from Samsung, that’s expected to come to India this week and it gets a price tag already. The product is called Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and it’s expected to be priced at around $246.
This model will have support for 14 Indian languages and dual SIM support as well. It comes with a 5 inch 960 x 540 pixel display, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot with support for up to 64 GB extra memory and Android 4.4 KitKat as the OS. We’ve got an 8 megapixel autofocus totting rear shooter, with LED flash and support for Full HD video recording, as well as a 5 megapixel front camera.
There’s dual SIM dual standby support here and this thing measures 8.6 mm in thickness. It weighs 156 grams, offers HSPA+ 21 Mbps downloads, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Glonass. Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime has a 2600 mAh battery and it will come in black or white. The stocks are coming in during the next days and I can’t quite figure out why this is a selfie phone…
