Samsung’s Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2016 editions are now ready for an Indian debut, that will take place tomorrow, May 9th. The devices were released in China last month and they also debuted in Europe in the meantime, so India is the next place to be.
The launch goes down tomorrow in New Delhi, where the South Koreans will announce pricing for the devices. These newcomers will brings extras like more RAM than their predecessors, larger batteries and wider aperture for the main cameras. They also have NFC chips and support for Samsung Pay. These models run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and have pretty generous batteries, with a capacity of 3100 mAh and 3300 mAh (J5/J7 2016).
The devices will be available in black and gold, possibly also white and prices will gravitate around $250 for the J5 2016 and $318 for the J7 2016. Super AMOLED screens, quad core and octa core CPUs and 2 GB of RAM will be here. Interestingly, the Galaxy J7 2016 gets 3 GB of RAM in China and 2 GB of RAM in South Korea, so let’s see which one India gets.v
