You probably know that GSMDome.com and Tablet-News.com are sister sites, so we must inform you that recently they posted a very nice unboxing for the Samsung Galaxy Note II. The famous 5.5 inch phablet has reached them for testing purposes and the first impressions are quite good. This product was showcased at IFA 2012 in Berlin at the end of August and it should reach US stores this month.

The phablet comes in Titanium Grey or Marble White and they’re testing the latter. Note II has a rumored price tag of $800 for the US market, without contract. The device measures 9.4 mm in thickness, weighs 183 grams and feels comfortable if you’ve got big hands. It’s also easy to use with one hand and inside its box there’s a charger, USB cable, battery, headphones and manual. The next gen S Pen stylus is embedded at the back of the phablet and supports 1024 levels of pressure, like the Galaxy Note 10.1 stylus.

Note II has a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and it comes with either 16, 32 or 64 GB of storage, plus 2 GB of RAM. Its processor and camera are exactly the same ones as those of the Galaxy S III: an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p capture and a quad core Exynos CPU, respectively. The new Galaxy Note runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and in the video you can also see the feature Air View, with the hovering pen demoed.
