Samsung is said to have started testing the Galaxy Note III and we have proof regarding that: a few benchmarks here and there, plus the occasional codename dropping on various lists. Well, today we came across the first pictures portraying this mythical phablet.

The device is supposed to debut at IFA 2013 in Berlin, so we’re months away from seeing it in a finalized version. However, courtesy of the usual leakster of all things Samsung (SamMobile), we came across the shots that you can see here. This is the 5.99 inch Full HD device you’ve been hearing so much about, after a long period when the device was actually said to be packing a 6.3 inch display.

It’s also supposed to feature a Snapdragon 800 processor, 13 megapixel camera, probably the one of the Galaxy S4 and the usual WiFi, GPS and LTE. The S Pen is also here, in an upgraded version and I can’t help but notice some similarities with the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II. The device is all rectangular, very slim and this time the bezels are very narrow. Android 4.2 and TouchWiz are obviously a part of the package…
