Samsung is one Android device manufacturer that while holding the top position still manages to offer great devices at a highly affordable price point. It is the case with the Galaxy Pocket – aiming for the low-end market, now about to be revived with a new version.
Like its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus is a low-end device expected to be offered at a highly affordable price. The device aims to correspond to today’s market budget smartphone demands. It bares resemblance to the original model, while offering higher specs.
Galaxy Pocket Plus is powered by a single-core 850MHz CPU and offers 4 GB of internal storage. On the front there is a 2.8-inch QVGA display while on the back there is a 2 MP camera. Connectivity features include 3G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and 1200 mAh battery. The Android 4.0.4 device is said to be available by the end of the year.
