Samsung Galaxy S II was first showcased at Mobile World Congress 2011, in Barcelona, back in February and shortly afterwards we’ve heard Vodafone was preparing it for a Spring launch, at least in Eastern Europe. Well, now there’s talk about delays, at least according to UK retailer Clove.

Clove was supposed to make the new Galaxy S available since March, but now the product is listed for a May release. With no contract attached, the device will sell for $860, for the 16GB version, or $1,152 for the 32GB one. We remind you that this phone is so thin and light that back at MWC we asked the Samsung folks at the booth to pull out its battery to show it’s really on.

We have to note that Clove stopped displaying this deal after the news broke out. Mistake or just coincidence?
