Good old Eldar Murtazin is back and Phone Arena’s sources as well, detailing the specs and launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S III. It appears that this new Samsung smartphone will come in April, after being unveiled next month at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. There have been talks of 1.5GHz quad core CPUs and 12MP cameras, but let’s hear the info that comes from regular tipsters now…
The image you see here was leaked in Russia a while ago and it was claimed to be real till Samsung Russia came out and said it was a mere render. Phone Arena’s commenters and tipsters say that the Galaxy S III will sport a quad core processor, 12 megapixel camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a HD Display and a very thin chassis. Meanwhile, Eldar Murtazin, the famous Russian blogger who always has inside info on upcoming phones is claiming that we’ll get software tweaks, plus the same OS, camera and processor mentioned before.
No idea on how accurate this info is, but if it is, I can’t imagine any other Android phone this year that would take down the new Galaxy S. Mid April release gives this smartphone about half an year of market domination till the new iPhone comes… unless Nokia pulls an amazing phone from the hat and demolishes Android, but I can’t see that happening.
