The folks of BGR have an insider close to Samsung saying that the Galaxy S III model will come with a 4.8 inch display and a ceramic back. We also find out that the device will be launched internationally at the same time, so there will be no delays, like it happened with the Galaxy S II when it arrived to the USA very late.
BGR says that we should expect the Galaxy S III to hit 50 markets simultaneously and that the handset will use a Super AMOLED Plus HD screen. It’s also good news that instead of the plasticky back we get a solid ceramic back this time, although I have a feeling this will affect the thickness and weight of the handset. Other rumors have been saying that this new flagship will come with Android 4.0, LTE, a 12 megapixel camera and a quad core CPU, most likely the Exynos model that will be demoed at MWC 2012.
Also you should know that Samsung claimed that they won’t show the new Galaxy S in Barcelona, but they’ll organize a special event for that instead. Of course, you should take all this info with a grain of salt, as we’ve heard about “close sources” before.
