After seeing a few leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini and the Zoom model, today we spot the Galaxy S5 Active unit, courtesy of a fresh leak. That leak has shown the codename SM-G870A in relation to the handset and more details are shown below.
The Active is supposed to be a version of the Galaxy S5 handset that was unveiled at MWC 2014. Samsung’s User Agent Profile confirms the device and “A” from its codename seems to be related to AT&T’s network. The Galaxy S4 Active was an AT&T exclusive, so the trend may be kept with this model as well.
It will be interesting to see what novelty this phone will bring, seeing how the Galaxy S5 is already water resistant and dust proof.
