Many people were puzzled by this week’s leak of the Galaxy S8 in those case renders and pictures, that seemed to show a moved flash and no iris scanner. Those were Ghostek cases and now we get a much clearer set of pics, that come from Mobile Fun, who listed the Olixar Ultra Thin cases for a “Galaxy S8 Edge”.

While the whole “Edge” thing is probably the standard version, the images are yet another confirmation of the approach that Sammy is taking this year. They’re going without a physical Home button and with a curved screen edge by default. The screen seems even more bezel-free than before and its top and bottom edges are also ultra narrow. Hopefully there’s also some palm rejection mechanism to get rid of strange input.

We also notice a potential lack of a 3.5 mm audio jack and the fact that the camera flash has indeed been moved, above the main camera. We can’t seem to spot the pulse scanner, while the LED flash enclosure may also host a laser focus of sorts. No extra cutout is spotted next to the earpiece, for any potential sort of iris scanner. And then there’s the lack of Home button, lining up with what we already knew.

Fret not about the dual camera, as rumor has it that it’ll come on the Galaxy S8 Plus 6 incher.
